Mama

A little while ago Claire started to make the sounds "mmmmmma mmmmmmma." I was not all that surprised because I have been working on the word "mama" with her since the day she was born and to me these sounds definitely translated to "mama"! I know many people would say that I am crazy to think that my 7 month old is already saying "mama" and that she is just making noises and doesn't know what she is saying , but I don't care. When I hear it I just know that she is calling my name! There is no sweeter sound to my ears then when Claire says "mmmmmmmma mmmmmmmmmma" and I don't think anything has ever sounded so beautiful! She thinks it's great too because every time she says it she gets an incredible amount of enthusiastic encouragement and many cuddles and kisses from me!
