1)Sit on my deck in the sun with my head back, eyes closed and shoes off, just soaking in the feeling of the sun's warmth as it touches my skin.
2)Use Claire's new bike trailer and enjoy the wind in my hair and even the helmet on my head because it will be such a privilege to be outside at last.
3)Sit in my porch during Claire's morning nap with a hot cup of tea and no distractions so that I can fully take in the sound of the wind in the trees, the fluttering of leaves, and the chirping of birds.
4)Go for walks (SO many walks) with Claire and maybe even get a Slurpie on some of these walks!
5)Have picnics with Claire in my yard and not worry if we are making a mess. (I know I can barely believe I typed it either!)
6)Watch less TV. New Girl is a fantastic show but it can't hold a candle to the great outdoors (or just my porch).
If Spring ever does come to Winnipeg, Manitoba this year (and I'm starting to have my doubts that it ever will) I am going to bask in it's glory and soak it all up! At least that's my plan.
