Driving

I like to think I'm a pretty good driver but realize that when I drive I have three major problems. The first problem that I have when driving is that I tend to speed a little. Not all the time but just when I really need to get somewhere (like when Claire is crying in the back seat because she is hungry or has just pooped and it is oozing out the sides and top of her diaper and slowly working its way through her clothes and onto her car seat) and it seems that whenever this is the case there is a car with a camera in it taking my picture. Then after a little while I get a letter from the police department informing me that this car took my picture and that they want a lot of money from me.
The second problem I have when I'm driving is that sometimes my car brushes up against other things. Not other cars (thank goodness) but things like my garage (this happens more than I would like to admit), garbage/recycling bins that have tumbled into my back lane, rogue shopping carts, those sorts of things. I really didn't think this was a big deal but my husband does not like this at all.
My third problem is that people are always honking at me! Usually I know why they are honking and usually they don't have a good reason. For instance if I'm turning onto a street and there is a pedestrian in the way and I don't run them over. People honk at me because they don't see the pedestrian and don't know why I'm not moving. Or if I'm turning at a light and the person behind me thinks I have enough room before the next car comes to turn, but I really don't, so they honk at me. Sometimes people honk at me because I accidentally cut them off. This I completely understand and I always wave and mouth "I'm sorry" and hope that I haven't ruined their day.
