When Claire was very little her grandpas were her favourite people to sleep on (sometimes her grandpas enjoyed cuddling with her so much that they would nod off a little too).
I can't wait for Claire to be old enough to do more playing with her grandpas. I remember having tea parties, telling jokes, going for walks, playing memory and mostly just knowing that both of my grandpas loved me very much. They loved me enough to get down on the floor and play with me even though it wasn't comfortable for them at all and as they grew older, knew it would be hard to get back up. They loved me enough to take me out for meals, to always be interested in what was happening in my life, to share stories and to pass down wisdom to me. Even though my grandpas are no longer with me I often remember them and am so glad that Claire will have grandpas that love her as much as mine loved me!
