Friends

Aren't friends great? I sure think so. They are people you can share interests and experiences with. They are the ones who you can't wait to tell your latest crazy driving story to. They are the people you want to go for a weekend to Minneapolis with just to hang out (and maybe do some shopping). Friends are the ones that show up with a meal when you have a newborn baby and can't do anything else but meet her basic needs. Friends are the ones who will listen when you are trying to make sense of life and its latest conundrum. Friends are those special people that you connect with on some level that makes it fun to be around them. Friends are the ones you share laughs with and you can also cry with. Friends are the people you can lean on and that can build you up on your worst day and share in your happiness on your best. Friends challenge you and help you grow to be a better version of yourself. They lovingly point out hard things and help you through the aftermath. Friends are a precious gift from God. I'm so thankful for my friends!
