It is hard to believe that Christmas has already come and gone. For us it was a time of visiting with family and friends. Claire enjoyed Christmas immensely and took to opening presents with gusto! She also began to warm up to large groups of people and was not afraid to run around freely even at family gatherings of 50 or more people she didn't know very well. We were very proud of how far she has come and the confident little girl she is becoming. Claire loved spending time with her aunts, uncles, grandparents and great grandparents! This picture is from Christmas Day when Claire was having tea with her Great Grandpa and her uncle Andrew.
She also loved hanging out with her cousins! In this picture Claire is enjoying a meat bun with her cousin Jude.On Christmas morning we gave Claire her present from us, a cabbage patch doll. I was very excited to give this to her and was up way earlier than her in anticipation. This is a picture from Christmas morning right after she opened her new doll, Coco, who went straight into her new stroller from the Victoria Bargens.
One of Claire's favourite gifts were miniature Elmo and Grover dolls. This is surprising because the only place she knows them from are the small pictures on her diapers but she can't get enough of them and sleeps with them in her bed each night. Also, Matt does an amazing Elmo voice which, I think, has definitely added to the excitement of the toys.
All in all it was a fantastic Christmas!
