The Update

It is hard to believe that it is already December 23rd. In some ways time has gone by incredibly fast and in others it feels like forever since the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Since the last time I posted Claire and I continue to enjoy our days together. She has grown so big and is learning many new things everyday. 

She says many words (some that we understand and lots that we don't) and she wants to do everything that mommy is doing and is very "helpful" in the kitchen. One thing Claire is very excited about is babies which is great because she will be getting a new brother or sister in June! 

We are so excited to be expecting #2 and are sure that Claire will make an incredible big sister. We were overjoyed to hear the heartbeat of our new little one this past Friday and brought Claire along to our appointment. So far all she knows about the baby is that it makes mommy feel really sick a lot of the time. Hopefully this part of the pregnancy will be over soon as I am now 14 weeks.
We are very excited for Claire to experience Christmas this year and have already caught her trying to open a present or two when no one was looking. 

She has enjoying putting the ornaments on our advent calendar each day and gets excited every time she sees the tree in our living room.
