San Francisco

At the beginning of August our family went to San Francisco with a bunch of friends. I was unsure of how the trip would go with a 7 week old but it ended up being a blast! The flights to California went really well and we were relieved by how easy flying with our kids went.

It was when we reached the car rental place and found a line of approximately 200 people that things started to get a bit overwhelming. By this time we were tired and ready to be at the house we were staying at in LaFayette. Luckily enough, one of the employees saw us and our 2 young children and brought us to the front of the line! It still took a while to get a car but soon we were on the road just in time for rush hour, making a 20 minute drive nearly 2 hours. Needless to say a very tired Claire ended up throwing up twice on the drive and a very hungry Benjamin cried most of the way. But it all ended up being worth it when we arrived at the awesome house and started to spend time with our amazing friends!

The trip was filled with time by the pool (which had an absolutely spectacular view), exploring a bit of San Francisco, shopping, and enjoying scrumptious meals with great friends.
